Melanin Motivated is providing a grant program for BIPOC small businesses, aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to build and run a successful establishment. Through this program, entrepreneurs will receive valuable training and support to help them achieve their goals. With this grant, BIPOC small businesses will have an opportunity to thrive and grow, thus creating a more diverse and prosperous economy.
Melanin Motivated is committed to giving back to the community that has supported us. We do this by collecting financial and clothing donations to assist those in need. Additionally, we organize various events and activities aimed at benefiting the community. We will consistently post updates about these events and activities here.
About Me
Melanin Motivated began as a source of extra income for my personal business. The struggle of wanting to do everything on my own took me through an emotional loop. Maintaining my persistence to be great was becoming harder by the day. Along with the financial struggles, the world I cherish viewed my community and me as less than nothing. It was continuously shown in Blue Collar Land because of the negligence of allowing minorities to create or maintain successful businesses. Grant programs to help fund my developments were slim to none. Whenever a program was offered normally the winner was someone who was not a minority. Remaining level headed, I thought to create a grant program from my extra income t-shirt business to provide some help for our future entrepreneurs. The amount of support from family, friends, and my peers were astonishing enough to talk its way to success. Melanin Motivated was then transformed into something bigger than ever imagined.
